Motivational Monday

Motivational Mondays are my weekly health check-ins- for accountability purposes.

Goals Achieved Last Week: 1/3 (not as bad as it looks though!)

My exercise goal: hula-hoop everyday for 5 to 7 minutes, I missed 2 days- the day the furnace was being fixed, and D&D. I had extra things come up on both days and by the time I had just a few minutes to exercise, it was almost time for bed. I still achieved 7 minutes of hooping for 5 days. I know 7 minutes doesn’t seem like a lot- but I’m following the instructions. You need to increase hooping slowly in order to prevent bruising, etc…and be able to do it everyday. I’m more concerned with consistency than length at this point. My nutritional goal: eat 5 servings of fruit and veggies per day, I completed.  My motivational goal: Track my goal progress in my journal I also failed at, only 4 of the 7 days I managed to remember.

Results of Weekly Weigh-in: Same (-3 from original)…again…I’ve hit a plateau here!

For This Week

New Goals

Exercise Goal: 10 minutes of weighted hula-hooping per day
Nutritional Goal: Track my eating habits for one full day this week
Motivational: Set-up tracking files in my t0-do spreadsheet, and transfer my current logs into it.

I keep my to-do spreadsheet open all day long- at work and at home . I am hoping that adding my fitness journal to a tab on my to-do spreadsheet, I will remember to update it more frequently.
